E rere atu ana ngā maiohatanga, ngā whakaaro ki ngā whānau katoa o Aotearoa whānui. Ki a koutou mā kua pāngia me ngā roimata o Ranginui, ngā ua o Te Ihorangi. Ko koutou kei te tihi o whakaaro o roto i ngā karakia.
Tēnā Koutou Katoa e Te Whānau,
We are almost at the end of the first week and tamariki are settling in well to their akomanga with their kaiako.
This kura pānui will come out every Thursday with the goal of ensuring all whānau are kept update with all things happening at kura.
Whānau Hui;
Wharekura held their first whānau hui last night.It was a great turn out from all our new Tau 7 & 8 whānau as well as two whānau from our Tau 9 -13.Ngā mihi nui i tae mai koutou.
Thank you also to all those whānau who sent their apologies in.
However we would like to re-affirm that all whānau are expended to attend at least one whānau a term.Mo te aha?Mō a tātou tamariki te take!!!!
Kaitahi Katoa o Te Whānau;
We are inviting all the whānau to a kaitahi on Monday evening at 6pm.A pānui for this will be put on our Facebook page and our website too.It will be a very informal night.
We ask all whānau attending to bring a plate of kai to share for the evening.
Kura Tuatahi Whānau Hui;
"Meet & Greet" will be held next Thursday from 1:30 onwards.
Waitangi Day;
Kura will be closed on Friday 6th February and will re-open on Monday 9th February.
Kauhoe/Swimming Lessons:
Kura have been fortunate to have engaged with te Whare Kauhoe to deliver an 8 week swimming programme in te reo Māori for Tau 1-13.They have been gracious enough to charge us half price per child for this 8 week programme.
Swimming will start Week 3- February 13th.
The kura has opted in to the donation scheme this year, therefore the cost of swimming for all tamariki will be paid from here.
Te Rā Hare Pota;
Arohanui whānau with the late notice for our rā Hare Pota.
We will endeavour to have a calendar for our rā whakanui as well as rā whare for Term 1 by the end of next week to ensure whānau have earlier notification of these events.
Absences/Late
In line with MOE, the Kura will be taking a serious approach in following up on all daily absences and lateness to kura.
Absences are either justified or unjustified.There is a criteria list for these.
Appointments with doctors specialist appointments must be provided.
All attendances are been tracked by MOE who will be following up on all chronic absences.
Please ensure that your tamaiti arrives on time to kura too.
Absences and lateness has a huge impact on our tamariki learning.
